NOTICE TO OUR MEMBERS AND PATRONS:
Theatre Southwest has been closely monitoring the rapidly changing events in our community relating to COVID-19.
First and foremost, we want our extended TSW Family to know we are constantly thinking of your safety and well being. Given the health risks and recommendations of local and federal government officials, we feel it may become necessary to postpone the upcoming production of “The Rainmaker” currently set to open in early April.
Rest assured we are keeping abreast of the constantly changing events and our primary concern remains the health and safety of our patrons and members. Additional notifications will be shared as we can and we thank you for your patience during this difficult time. In the meantime, the theater is being sanitized regularly.
While we know everyone is going through difficult times both emotionally and financially because of the unprecedented temporary business closures, Theatre Southwest asks for your help with our campaign to “Keep our Doors Open to the Future.”
We still have many bills to meet during this time and ask that anyone who can support TSW please consider making a donation to Theatre Southwest either on the orange“Donate” link below , or by sending a check to the theater directly at:
Houston, Texas 77063
Additionally, although we have been bequeathed a donation which we will be using to catch us up on overdue bills and keep us afloat, that money will not be available in time to help us through this difficult financial time. We are, therefore, also seeking a short term loan from our TSW community sponsors to help with mounting rent and utility bills. If you or someone you know could provide such a short term loan with minimal interest to the theater, please contact Mimi Holloway by phone (713) 661-9505 or via email at
We will be in touch again as more information becomes available. Please take care and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
