The FOO consists of five 20-minute original plays by five different playwrights, with five different directors and five different casts. It is an eclectic grouping of plays submitted from all over the U.S.​

In 1944 Poland during World War II, Anna, a young Polish woman newly arrived in Krakow, has been working with the underground resistance movement. Alone on Christmas Eve and feeling lonely, she invites Tolek, her only acquaintance in the city, to spend the evening with her. Tolek brings with him a Jewish fugitive named Jacob who has just escaped the Nazis.
